Another one of my Screen-printing assignments.
For this I printed my designs onto a cotton cloth and sewed them onto some old jeans I had at home. I intentionally left the sewed-on patches very apparent and frayed the edges to add another visual element to the design.

I had a lot of fun and it inspired me to continue experimenting with fashion for my final project in that class.
(((btw the one modelling the pants is me🤭🤭🤭)))

This series is called Line of Movement and it consists of 15 A4-size drawings made exclusively with ballpoint pen.
I used different ways to express the fluidity of the dancers' movements through various types of line drawings, as a way of experimenting with this method.

After racing against the clock to have my new webs

After racing against the clock to have my new website done before an important event which took place last thursday, I'm super happy to say I could get everything done on time! (well, maybe there are some things to tweak still, but it's mostly finished)
I made this website all by myself using the @elementor wordpress plug-in (which was a lifesaver) and tried my best to showcase some of my favourite pieces in a frame which would suit them without being too distracting.

These ink marbling pieces were the first step for a much bigger project I did some time ago (scroll to see them all). Even though in this case they were merely stepping stones for a bigger goal, I still think they deserve to be seen as their own thing as they are quite beautiful with their organic shapes and different intensities.

This small painting depicts a pier in a calm, motionless lake. Since it was made with walnut stain, it has the sepia look and feel of old photographs even though it was recently made as a plein air piece. Because of this, I decided to call it "Frozen in time".
